The Aspen Plus Corner Log Cabin with Extra Large Windows is the ideal solution to you problems for more space. The Aspen Plus Corner Log Cabin can be used as a place to relax, as an additional spare room for when friends and family stay over or most popular as a home office. The Alpine look gives this log cabin a great finish and stylish design for any garden.

Construction

The Alpine Aspen Plus Corner Log Cabin is constructed from quality top wood which is 28mm thick and has double tongue and groove joints to give the chalet a wind tight fit. The door is laminated and comes with a handle and lock and glazed with single sheet glass. The opening window is also glazed with a single glass sheet. The floor and ceiling are constructed using 18mm thick quality softwood.

The cabin is delivered untreated offering you the opportunity to protect and decorate it to your own personal taste. Untreated buildings do naturally grey with age within around 12 months; therefore we recommend that you treat the cabin during construction with a high quality preservative and at regular intervals according to the preservative manufacturer's instructions.

The Log Cabin is delivered with temporary packaging to protect it during transportation. Although an outside product the wood should be treated or kept dry during the construction process. We recommend that any exposed timber is covered immediately after delivery to avoid any blue stain issues.

The base is constructed with pressure treated bearers for maximum durability and includes a FREE floor.

The cabin should be constructed on a firm level base whether that is solid sheet concrete, concrete slabs or tanalized bearers.

Base

The base is constructed with pressure treated bearers for maximum durability and includes a FREE floor. The cabin should be constructed on a firm level base whether that is solid sheet concrete, concrete slabs or tanalized bearers

Pre-Treatment

Your building has been pre-treated with a timber preservative treatment but we do recommend that a further treatment is carried out following constructions to prolong the life of your building. The treatment will protect your building for approximately 6-8 weeks giving you plenty of time to prepare your base and erect your building.

Installation Service

We have a team of fitters who have over 30 years experience in the constructing of log cabins. The team are professional and friendly and offer a stress free build of your cabin. You will need to prepare your base prior to the team arriving to constructed your log cabin. We aim to coincide the installation with the delivery of your log cabin, with us normally delivering your cabin the day prior to the install team arriving. You may need to store the cabin for 24/48 hours prior to your arranged install date. Installation is normally 1-2 days with the team arriving at 7am to get a good start! (coffee always appreciated)

Please note for the Alpine range the installation cost is for the construction of the log cabin and for the felt to be fitted to the cabin. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE the fitting of shingles which will be an additional charge if you wish the team to fit these - please call for a quote (typically this cost will be in the region of £300 due to the length of time taken to lay the shingles)

Deliveries to the Channel Islands and Scottish Isles, Orkney are delivery only to mainland port. You will need to arrange the forward delivery from the mainland port.

If a refuge vehicle can gain access then generally our delivery lorry should be able to but if in doubt please get in touch with us. If you feel you may be located in such an area please call to check prior to ordering.
